This is a safety line component that is installed between three-position directional control valves and cylinders.

It is used to ensure that the cylinder is held in the mid-position when stopped at the middle of its stroke.

It protects operators and other equipment, against accidents that may result from the cylinder unexpected moving from its middle stopping position.
