Intrinsic Safety Solenoid Valves |
Intrinsic safety valves can be used for applications that require similar explosion class/ignition degree to d2G4 or Exd II BT5 type (explosion-proof enclosure construction).
Without need for expensive connection tools and complex installation work that are inevitable for explosion-proof enclosure types, the intrinsic safety valves achieve highly reliable explosion-proof performance.

SAF3-5 , MTL728+ |
Intrinsic safety explosion barrier is an explosion-proof device with single channel, shunt-diode DC circuit that enables interactive electric signaling without short circuit while controlling energy transmission in order to prevent ignition in explosive atmosphere.
1.Applicable to Zone 0.
2.When serially connected to a transmission circuit, the barrier protects
the circuit and components in hazardous area from being affected by
a serious accident in the non-hazardous area.
3.Despite in the hazardous location, conventional wiring is available.
4.Intrinsical proof of operational signal is figured out easily and at lower
cost.
5.As SAF3-5 safety barrier has protection circuit, it will be not broken
if you wired in the wrong polarity.
6.SAF3-5 safety barrier employ crimping terminal wiring method.

In the case of other barriers and combination
Konan 454, 414, 416 series intrinsic safety solenoid valves have passed equipment qualification tests for intrinsic safety solenoid valve.
The valves can be used in combination with the safety barrier that meets the following conditions. (The valves can be used with insulation barrier that does not need type A ground.)
The barrier used in combination with the valves should be the one that has passed equipment qualification tests for a barrier and that meets the following conditions. |

Less than 29.4V |
| Maximum current of a intrinsic safety circuit |
